It appears industry will soon have to collaborate and share current research and other resources to develop industry waste-management plans (IWMPs), states law firm Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr.It is likely that IWMPs will not only have to comply with challenging time frames but also provide a framework to promote a collaborative best practice in waste management, which has buy-in from various participants in the value chain in the relevant industry.
